On July 12, 1992, the Nokomis Community dedicated what now is being recognized as one of the most beautiful war memorials anywhere in the whole country. It’s cost being totally subscribed for by local citizens with many who had moved away but retained strong ties to the community. SWAMP DONKEY started with four acoustics and an oriental rug. We added a hint of rock, a dash of blues, a dollop of folk, and we ended with that good down home sound. Check them out on their Facebook page.
